Presidents Corner
Welcome to all past racers and those skiers who might be contemplating joining AMSA. With snow already on the ground in the Alps, my thoughts have been on the new season and some of the changes your Committee has implemented for 2011. Hopefully we will have a bumper season!
I also encourage those members who are not already in a training program to consider joining one of the Masters programs available at Thredbo, Perisher, Mt Hotham and Mt Buller Race Clubs.
Whether or not you are either a serious racer, or one less serious but enjoy the fun, it would be a big boost for the Association if you would try your very best to encourage some one else to join AMSA and experience social ski racing at it’s best..
This year, AMSA own racing meet (Australian Masters Championships) will be held at Perisherblue from 1st to 2nd August. This is an opportunity to race SL and GS at FIS standard and also SG, on a course which starts with a long glide followed by several challenging technical sections.
See you on the course!
